What is The Next Assassin’s Creed Game After Valhalla

Spread the love

Ubisoft’s Game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla became launched in 2020. But it didn’t get like tons of a reputation as its predecessors. The upcoming multiple-games-in-one-bundle sport Assassin’s Creed Infinity became first rumored earlier than Ubisoft showed it in a brand new weblog post. There’s a large extrude for the Assassin’s Creed franchise. This kind of collection comprehensively explores a unique setting and environment.

Ubisoft refers to it as “Assassin’s Creed Infinity” during development. But it’s not clear if that will be the official name. Infinity will reportedly be merging multiple Assassin’s Creed titles into one bundle, giving players access to multiple franchise titles at the same time.

Availability

According to Bloomberg, Infinity is not expected to be launched until 2024. Ubisoft is unlikely to announce Infinity until at least 2023, so we can’t expect any official announcements until then. Assassin’s Creed will likely be released in fall 2024 if Ubisoft follows the Assassin’s Creed release pattern.

Plot & Location

Assassin’s Creed Infinity, as far as we know so far, won’t take place in one location like previous entries in the franchise. Assassin’s Creed Infinity is rumored to serve as a hub from which players can access all of the games in the series. There’s no word on whether these are new games or older titles. As a result, we can expect Assassin’s Creed Infinity to cover multiple locations and time periods, unlike anything we’ve seen before in the Assassin’s Creed series.

Probably in 2023 or 2024, more details about the game will be revealed. We will learn more about the timeframes then.

Will it be Free or Paid?

From what we know so far, we can assume that Assassin’s Creed Infinity will be some kind of live service title. However, Assassin’s Creed Infinity will not be free to play like many live service games are. While there’s no confirmation, Ubisoft’s live service games are usually released at full price and then supported with paid and free upgrades.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said in October 2021. “This game is going to have a lot of narrative elements in it. It’s going to be a very innovative game, but it will have what players already have in all the other Assassin’s Creed games, all the elements that they love… right from the start. So it’s going to be a huge game. But with lots of elements that already exist in the games that we published in the past.” Indicators say it’ll be not a free-to-play game.

Multiplayer Compatibility

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood was the first multiplayer Assassin’s Creed game. It had a dedicated multiplayer following, but it never reached the heights of other multiplayer titles of the era. For this reason, Ubisoft has discontinued the multiplayer functionality of Assassin’s Creed in recent years.

The last multiplayer Assassin’s Creed game was Unity 2014, which is more than 6 years ago now. Ubisoft is unlikely to bring back multiplayer to the series. Regardless of the live service direction Infinity appears to be heading in.
