In-Depth Review of COD: OP Monarch: A blog on the different aspects of this program.

Over the past couple of months, there have been rumors indicating that Godzilla and King Kong are making an appearance in Call of Duty: Warzone. This was confirmed on Thursday by Activision. The film Godzilla vs. Kong isn’t even a year old at this point but the announcement trailer features enough CG work to make it easy to forget how outdated that particular movie might look compared to what we’re used to seeing in CGI movies now.

We don’t know much about how Operation Monarch will be accomplished, but what we do know is that there won’t be any crossovers. The trailers shows the two titular beasts fighting against one another, which suggests that we’ll receive a similar storyline to the movie instead of a free-for-all that just happens to have a selection of different characters in it.

The trailer makes the game sounds like a blast, but it looks like Call of Duty is once again trying to move further away from its military roots. Fans are hoping that the game will at least be good and worth the price tag. The release date is expected to be May 11th.
